01Scope of these terms

These terms apply to quotes and projects with CADDraftingServices.us. The quote you accept sets out the specific scope, deliverables, amount and delivery date for your project, and takes precedence where it differs from these terms. Questions about these terms can be sent to info@caddraftingservices.us.

02Quotes

Quotes are free to request and give one fixed amount and a delivery date for the scope described. Nothing is owed unless you accept the quote.

03Acceptance and payment

Work starts once you accept the quote. Payment terms are stated in the quote.

04Scope and revisions

Unlimited revisions are included within the agreed scope. Work beyond that scope, or changes to the inputs after the quote, is quoted as an amendment before it is carried out.

05Your responsibilities and stamping

You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the files and information you supply, and for having the right to share them with us.

Design decisions, engineering, code compliance, stamping or sealing, and filing with any authority remain with you and the architect or engineer of record. We draw from the information provided and do not visit sites.

We are drafters and never seal drawings. Where a project has no architect or engineer of record yet, stamping is arranged through licensed partner professional engineers (PEs) and registered architects (RAs) in most US states, and we confirm coverage for your state before work starts.

06Delivery

Files are delivered electronically in the formats named in the quote. Delivery dates run from acceptance of the quote and receipt of all the inputs it lists.

07Ownership

Once the project is paid for, the drawings and models delivered for it belong to you. We do not reuse the delivered drawings for any other client. We may show them as samples with all client details removed, unless you ask us not to or an NDA says otherwise.

08Confidentiality

We keep your files and project information confidential and use them only for your project. An NDA can be signed on request.

09Limitation of liability

Our liability for any project is limited to the amount paid for that project. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for errors that come from the information supplied to us.
