Scan to BIM Services
Scan to BIM services model existing buildings in Revit from the point cloud the client supplies, so renovation and as-built work starts from measured geometry. A free quote from our scan to BIM services arrives within 24 hours of the point cloud.

A point cloud becomes architectural, structural, MEP and site elements
Scan to BIM services turn a point cloud into Revit elements for four disciplines: architecture, structure, MEP and the site. Each reaches only as far as the scan shows it. An element the scan does not reach, such as one above a ceiling or inside a wall, stays out of the model.
The client supplies the point cloud, because we do not scan
The point cloud comes from the client, as E57, LAS or LAZ, or PTS, PTX or XYZ files, and the job starts there. Nobody on our team scans or measures the building, so the model reflects the cloud exactly as it is delivered to us.
The model is only as accurate as the scan
A model is no more accurate than the point cloud it comes from. The scan sets the limit, so we publish no tolerance or percentage. Where the cloud leaves an element unclear, the question goes back to the client before the model assumes an answer.
The job hands back a Revit model, sheets and schedules
A scan to BIM job ends with the Revit model (RVT). The sheets drawn from it come as DWG and PDF files, and we read the schedules and quantity lists from it. Unlimited revisions within the agreed scope extend to the model and the sheets drawn from it.
Scan to BIM sits beside as-built drawings and Revit modeling
Renovation and as-built work start from the scanned building, and the model is the base for new work. Drawings alone, with no model, are as-built drawings, and Revit modeling covers the model built from drawings. Which one a project needs depends on the deliverable: a model of the building as it stands, or drawings of it.
A scan model is quoted at a fixed price, and a lead reviews it before handover
Before it leaves us, a scan model is checked in three quality assurance (QA) stages. Three people read it in turn: the drafter on their own work, a peer next, and a lead who closes with the quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) review. Unlimited revisions within the agreed scope carry through to the issued model.
